By using FSC paper and vegetable-based inks, we can work together to protect the environment.

What is FSC paper?

It is paper that comes from planned and managed forests, specifically grown to produce paper and wood products. The trees used in paper come from both hard and soft woods.

Why are vegetable-based inks better for the Earth?

They are water soluble and totally biodegradable.

MCP is FSC certified.

You can find our confirmation of certification at www.fsc-info.org under Certificate Holders (listed as MCP). When you choose FSC certified papers, you are helping Canada’s natural forests and water resources stay strong.

“FSC Certified"

People want to be assured that the forest products they buy are not harming the environment. Forest certification is one way that forest companies can prove that the way they harvest does not damage the health of the forest or the stability and livelihoods of local communities. A forest company is certified once it can show that its practices meet a high standard for environmental protection, recognition of Indigenous Peoples and treaty rights, and social responsibility.

Once certified, a company can then use the FSC logo on its forest products such as lumber, flooring, paper or even maple syrup. Products carrying the FSC label are tracked back to the tree through the “Chain of Custody” (COC) Certification process. This tracks the product from a tree in the forest through all the steps of processing and production until it reaches the consumers, whether it is a handcrafted chair or the paper you are reading.

When you use FSC paper, you are supporting the environment... one sheet at a time.
